  • Optional excursion (with additional cost) “HALF DAY TEMPLES & ROYAL PALACE”: Half day excursion to enjoy the most important places in Bangkok: we start with Wat Trimitr, an ancient temple whose golden exterior houses the golden Buddha statue largest massif in the world. With a weight of 5.5 tons and a height of 3 meters. Passing through China Town, we continue to Wat Pho, the great royal temple complex that houses a 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha and the chedis (tombs) of the kings. One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho, was declared a royal monastery during the reign of King Rama I. We finish the excursion by visiting the Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful examples of the courts of Siam. Formerly it used to be used as the residence of the kings of Thailand. Here you can admire palaces used on different occasions: the funeral palace, the reception palace, the throne room, the coronation room, the house of royal guests and the wonderful temple of the Emerald Buddha. Day 5: Bangkok 🚌 Ayutthaya 🚌 Lopburi 🚌 Phitsanuloke
Breakfast. Today's visit begins with departure from the hotel and arrival at the extraordinary archaeological park of Ayutthaya, where we will surely not get tired of contemplating its wonderful and exuberant temples. Ayutthaya was the capital of the kingdom of the same name from approximately 1371 to 1700, later becoming the Kingdom of Siam and thus covering a large part of present-day Thailand and neighboring Cambodia. We visited the most representative temple: Wat Pha Sri Maha, an impressive place to discover. This afternoon we leave for Phitsanuloke, the provincial capital and an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty. Accommodation

Day 6: Phitsanuloke 🚌 Sukhothai 🚌 Chiang Rai
Breakfast. We continue the visit to the Sukhotai Historical Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered the first Thai kingdom (13th century), prior to Ayuthaya. We will visit (bicycle optional) the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum (Temple of the Sacred Tree), whose hand, covered in gold leaf and resting on his knee, is venerated with great fervor by the locals. In the afternoon, we head to Chiang Rai, with a mandatory stop at the picturesque Phayao Lake, in the valley of the Ing River. Accommodation.

Day 7: Chiang Rai🚌 Triángulo de Oro 🚌 Chiang Mai
Breakfast. This morning the more than popular Wat Rong Khun or White Temple awaits us, a very original contemporary Buddhist temple, designed by a Thai architect who gave it a specific shape and color; The almost immaculate white is the representation of purity.
  • Optional excursion (with additional cost): "GOLDEN TRIANGLE": Our first stop is the Hashish Museum, where we will obtain information about the region, which has been the center of illegal hashish production for centuries. Then, we moved on to the border region of the golden triangle. From the viewpoint high on the hill, we look at the magnificent view formed by the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak Rivers, and then on the Mekong River boat tour, we pass the borders of Myanmar and Laos. Next, we headed to Mae Sai village on the Myanmar border, located at the northernmost point of Thailand, and visited the border market. Free time for shopping at the border point. At the end of our tour, we will visit the world famous Chiang Rai tea fields along the way. Continuation to Chiang Mai by road in a journey of approximately 3 hours.

Day 8: Chiang Mai 🚈 Bangkok

Bangkok

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a vibrant city that combines modernity with deep cultural and historical roots. Founded in 1782 by King Rama I, Bangkok has grown to become a dynamic metropolis, famous for its temples, palaces and bustling city life. The city is a meeting point between the traditional and the contemporary, where ancient temples coexist with modern skyscrapers, floating markets and luxury shopping centers. One of the main tourist attractions in Bangkok is the Grand Palace, an extensive complex that was the official residence of the kings of Siam. Within the complex is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which houses the most revered Buddha statue in Thailand. Nearby is Wat Pho, known for its enormous statue of the reclining Buddha and for being a teaching center for traditional Thai massages. Another notable site is Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn, which stands majestically on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and is especially beautiful at sunset, when it is illuminated. In addition to temples, Bangkok is famous for its markets, such as Chatuchak Market, one of the largest in the world, and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where vendors trade from small boats. Nightlife in Bangkok is also vibrant, with rooftop bars, night markets and spectacular street food that delights visitors with authentic flavours.

Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai, located in northern Thailand, is a quiet and picturesque city, known for its unique temples, natural landscapes and rich history. It was founded in 1262 by King Mengrai as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom, an ancient kingdom in the northern region of Thailand. Although smaller and less bustling than Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai has a deep cultural heritage that makes it a must-see destination for history and nature lovers. One of the city's main attractions is the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), an impressive bright white modern structure that symbolizes purity. Designed by local artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, it is a mix of contemporary and traditional art that leaves visitors in awe. Another fascinating place is the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten), with its blue and gold details that create a magical atmosphere. For those interested in history and religion, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) is a sacred site, as it was the original home of the famous Emerald Buddha statue, which now stands in Bangkok. Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, the “Rose of the North”, is a historic city in northern Thailand, famous for its culture and nature. It was founded in 1296 by King Mengrai as the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom. Its rich history, ancient temples, and stunning surrounding nature make Chiang Mai a unique destination for travelers. One of the main attractions of the city is Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a temple located on top of a mountain that offers spectacular views of Chiang Mai. Founded in the 14th century, this temple is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Another historical place is Wat Chedi Luang, known for having housed the statue of the Emerald Buddha, today in Bangkok. For nature lovers, Doi Inthanon National Park is a must-see. The highest mountain in Thailand is located here, with waterfalls and trails ideal for exploring. You can also visit the Chiang Mai Elephant Park, where rescued elephants are cared for, allowing tourists to interact with these animals in an ethical manner. The Chiang Mai night market is another attraction, famous for its crafts, clothing and delicious Thai food. Additionally, if you visit in November, you can witness the Yi Peng Festival, where thousands of lanterns light up the sky.

Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya, former capital of the Kingdom of Siam, is a historic city located approximately 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. Founded in 1350, Ayutthaya became a thriving commercial and cultural center until its destruction by the Burmese in 1767. Today, its ruins and temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attract visitors from around the world. Ayutthaya's tourist attractions are impressive and steeped in history. One of the most emblematic places is Wat Mahathat, famous for its image of the Buddha's head between the roots of a tree. This temple, dating back to the 14th century, reflects the architectural and spiritual beauty of the ancient city. Another iconic site is Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which was the largest and holiest temple in Ayutthaya, known for its impressive chedis or stupas. Ayutthaya Historical Park offers the opportunity to explore several important ruins, such as Wat Ratchaburana and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, which offer spectacular views of the river and sunset. For those interested in history, the Ayutthaya Museum provides a fascinating insight into the city's past and its treasures.

Lopburi

Lopburi, one of the oldest cities in Thailand, is located about 150 kilometers north of Bangkok. Founded in the 13th century, Lopburi was an important city during the Kingdom of Sukhothai and later became the capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya. Its rich history is reflected in its architecture and cultural traditions. The city is known for its historic ruins and ancient temples, making it an attractive destination for history lovers. One of the main tourist attractions is Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahathat, a 12th-century temple famous for its impressive prang (tower) and Buddha statues. Another notable site is Wat Phra Khao Thong, where there is a huge golden stupa visible from afar. A unique aspect of Lopburi is the large population of macaques that inhabit the city. The Monkey Temple (Wat Phra Ram) is famous for allowing visitors to observe these animals in their natural environment. Every year, the Monkey Festival is celebrated, where special banquets are offered to monkeys, attracting both locals and tourists. The best time to visit Lopburi is from November to February, when the weather is cool and rain is scarce. From March to May, temperatures can be very high, while the rainy season extends from June to October. Mexican citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 30 days in Thailand, but they must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity. Pitsanuloke

One of the main attractions of Pitsanuloke is Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, a temple that houses a famous Buddha statue called Phra Buddha Chinnarat, considered one of the most beautiful in Thailand. This temple is not only a place of worship but also an important historical site that reflects the Buddhist devotion of the region. Additionally, visitors can explore the Sukhothai Historical Park, which is located within walking distance and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sukhothai

Wat Si Chum is another notable site, famous for its enormous statue of Buddha in a meditating position, which measures 15 meters high and is visible from afar. Sukhothai is also known for its beautiful rural landscape and rich agriculture, allowing visitors to enjoy bicycle rides and explore the surrounding rice fields and lakes.
